We offer service, maintenance, and installation of boilers, water heaters, gas piping, heat pumps, and air conditioning. We’re fully insured, Mitsubishi Diamond contractor, Efficiency Vermont, licensed and certified for air conditioning, natural gas, propane and heating oil. We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Installation Technician

The installation technician ensures proper and safe installation of all equipment such as boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, water heaters, gas piping and any other equipment associated with the company Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: -Serving the company’s clients through expert installation of replacement systems. Replacements represent 65% of the company’s total business and therefore it is imperative that the company has an excellent reputation for quality installations. Take pride in every installation that you do. Let the client know what you did for them that other companies don’t usually do. Show the client through the quality of your work that your company offers superior service and quality. -Wear floor savers while in the client’s home. Use drop cloths to protect the client’s floors while performing an installation. Always maintain a neat work area where you are working. -Re-check each aspect of an installation before leaving the job to prevent unnecessary callbacks after the job is finished. Use the Installation Excellence Form for re-checking. -Always explain the system to the client when finished with an installation and make sure that they are 100% satisfied with the work. -Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving, and make sure that the assistant installer is also working safely and neatly. -Maintain a production level minimum as determined by management and the annual plan. -Perform full system change-outs in an average of two days or less. -Trucks must be neat and clean on the inside and outside at all times. The truck is one of the best billboards that the company has. Park the truck for the maximum impact of the “billboard” when possible. -Train installation assistants, teaching them to work independently for maximum installation efficiency. -Fill out installation paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. -Obey company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules Minimum Qualifications: -High school diploma/GED required -Valid Driver’s License -Basic CRM Software skills -Clean background check -Drug-Free -2 years installation experience -Current licensing and certifications are preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment: -Climbing up and down on ladders and equipment -Heavy lifting required (50-75) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time -Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted -Operate handheld power tools -Wear personal protective equipment -Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day Working Environment: -Work both indoors and outdoors -Would be exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures -Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations -Must be able to work with sharp tools and electricity that could potentially produce cuts or burns -Wear safety attire often, such as goggles or other protective clothing -Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting -Will be exposed to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions -Ability to climb ladders and work from roofs and scaffolding -Will work around exposed contaminants -Must be able to work in cramped work places, such as crawl spaces under floors.

Field Service Manager

This position is responsible for management activities, including; establishing department development plans for installation, service, and maintenance. Also responsible for following and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the company fulfills its contractual obligations for service, repair, installations, and maintenance in accordance with profit objectives and directives. Procurement of necessary parts, tools and equipment for jobs. The Service & Installation Manager is the person that coordinates all of the activity between the office and the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

-Manage & Supervise and lead Service Technicians and Installation Crews

-Directly responsible for recruiting, interviewing, training, managing, and evaluating field technicians & installers

-Conduct ride a longs with technicians and installers and provide constructive and positive feedback

-Ensure all repairs and installs are completed to the highest quality standards and if necessary all permits are obtained.

-Conducting site visits during commissioning of new equipment

-Communicate and monitor goals

-Manage work load and schedules to best utilize manpower and maximizes profits

-Ensure technicians are being dispatched effectively

-Assist technicians with any issues while in the field

-Facilitate weekly field service meetings

-Resolve customer issues or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction

-Ensure all department operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and company requirements and codes

-Ensure all team members comply with OSHA safety standards.

-Harness a safety culture

-Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, revenue opportunities, customer issues, and all issues relevant to the business

-Manage and stay within departmental budget

-Achieve budgeted gross margin

-Meet or exceed all company goals

-Maximize lead opportunities, retain and grow Club Membership clients.

-Manage inventory, equipment and service fleet

-Review, approve new products and services

-Perform clerical duties associated with, but not limited to, field technician paperwork, personnel evaluations, and expense reports

-Carry out additional duties assigned by the General Manager or Owner

-Obey and teach the company Code of Ethics Team Rules and Team Philosophy.

-One third of your time should be spent Recruiting the right Team Members, One third of your time should be spent Training those team members, and then the last One third should be spend Supervising, Administrating, and Motivating your team. Manage your time in these proportions and you will be a successful Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

-High School Diploma
-Valid Driver’s License
-Basic computer skills
-Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
-Knowledge of current code requirements
-Understanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the industry
-Minimum 5 years experience in plumbing and HVAC
-Current gas, oil and AC certifications and licensing. Plumbing and Type S electrical preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment

-Physical Demands:
-Climbing up and down stairs from time to time
-Moderate lifting may be required (30-50) pounds
-Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours per day
-Night time, Weekend and Holiday Availability to assist on call technicians as needed by phone or in field
Working Environment
-Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
-Service center environment with moderate noise level
-Dress code is business casual with company logo clothing
-Daily travel to job sites to visit service and installation jobs
-Working with area wholesalers on equipment procurement and material supply chain
-Maintaining open communication between management and field personnel’s

HVAC Service Technician

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of heating and cooling systems in residential buildings.

Technicians will primarily respond to service calls, but will also do planned maintenance and/or installation as needed. Our company offers on-the-job training and yearly wage increases as your skills develop. Starting pay is determined upon skills and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

-Serving the clients by expertly servicing customers’ entire needs.

-Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.

-Always explain to the client what service you are performing. Explain and show the client how the company provides superior service.

-Install, maintain, modify and repair heating and cooling systems

-Inspect and test components of systems to ensure they are operable and safe

-Conduct heat loss/heat gain calculations to determine the proper size system for a home

-Understand your sales criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals.

-Establish rapport with clients to sell the right products and services.

Minimum Qualifications:

-High school diploma/GED required
-Associate degree preferred but not required
-5+ years’ experience in the HVAC trade
-Self-starter, reliable, flexibility with hours
-Strong customer service skills
-Must pass random drug testing
-Understanding of the current regulations within the field
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
-Able to work both independently and as part of a team
-General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use
-Maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
-Demonstrable knowledge and skills for HVAC installation, trouble shooting, maintenance and repair of systems and equipment
